Student Voice Research
- Meeting the Online Learning and Basic Needs of High School Students During the Coronavirus Pandemic (May 2021): At the end of the 2020 academic year, ACT wanted to learn more about students’ online learning experiences during the first several months of the pandemic. - Mental Health Supports and Academic Preparedness for High School Students During the Pandemic(May 2021): We expanded on prior research by asking students to indicate, near the beginning of the new 2020–2021 school year, their perceptions of how well their school was supporting their mental health and the extent to which daily life experiences during the pandemic had helped or hurt their mental health.
- Impacts of the Coronavirus Pandemic on Incoming High School Seniors' Postsecondary Plans (Jan 1, 2021): We reached out to rising high school seniors and asked how the pandemic had affected them in the previous year as juniors, how it was affecting their plans for college, and how they feel it has altered their ability to be prepared for college.
- Student Perspectives of the Impact of COVID-19: A Summary of Open-Ended Responses (Oct 1, 2020): This data byte explores students’ open-ended responses about how the coronavirus pandemic has impacted them academically.
